02 Flying fleas

The Mignet Flying Flea was one of the first successful aircraft designed to be build by amateurs.
The aircraft is the result of Henry Mignet researches and appeared in France in the years 1930's.

This aeroplane is well suited to explain basic of flight to the public.

There is no less that 4 Flying fleas in Gembloux all owned by Vincent Jacobs.

One airframe is already under restoration for static display. 2 others one are stored for future static restoration. The last one is stored and should be restored to flying status.



The construction of the Flying Fleas only require basic knowledge and skills.
The structure is build in wood covered with linen and will permit to keep the knowledge and techniques acquired by the team.
